Every November is Adopt a Senior Dog Month
The adoption fee for all dogs over the age of 6 years old will be discounted 50%. The normal fee is $200.00 so if your adoption goes through from November 1 - 30, the adoption fee will be $100.00.

Seniors for Seniors Program*
Effective November 1, 2010 - Any senior citizen (age 65 and up) who adopts any weimaraner over the age of 8 years old will be entitled to a free senior panel blood test once a year on their adopted weimaraner, for the life of the dog. The rescue will pay for your weimaraner to have a full senior panel done once a year in order to insure the dog's health. This will hopefully help the adopter financially and assure us that the dog's health is being maintained and that any illnesses are caught in time. You do not have to apply for this incentive, simply mention it to our placement coordinator when the adoption goes through and we will work out the details.

*This program is not retroactive.  But it does run all year round.

** Please note that all dogs over the age of 8 years old will be given a complete "Senior Panel" blood test prior to their adoption, at the expense of the rescue so you are aware of any health issues prior to adopting.
