Success Stories > 2009 Successes > Koda
Koda, an almost two year old weimaraner was given up by his family because they didn't have time for him. He was home alone alot and became destructive...tearing up three sets of furniture. It got to the point where they felt a need to put a muzzle on him when he was home alone. For Koda's good they decided to find him another home that was more appropriate. Koda was adopted out to an active family who spends all their free time with their dogs. Koda has been doing great and really loving his life.
11-18-10 Koda (Ollie) is doing wonderfully. He's very smart, affectionate and a great watchdog. He has shown his intelligence in many ways but most recently, he let me know that one of our rabbits had gotten out of their fenced area and was on the wrong side of the fence. He stood in the window and barked until I came to the door and saw the rabbit. When I put the rabbit back in his little housing area and fixed the fence, he stopped barking. He knew the rabbit should be on the inside of the fence. He's kind to our other animals and is very well behaved.
We love him dearly and are so happy you found him for us. Best, Cindy
