5 months ago we picked up 5 yr old Gracie from the shelter in Manahawkin, NJ from a poor living situation in desparate need of a foster. Extremely heartbroken and grieving over the loss of Dante, our 14 yr old weim, a week earlier, we were NOT looking for a replacement nor was our weim Sasha. So fostering was our plan.  Gracie came into our home so sweet, well-behaved, adorable and playful but she was lost and you could see it in her eyes. An emptiness. A sadness.  Well No More! That lost, empty look is gone and replaced with expressive eyes that now look directly at us and a tail always wagging.  Happy girl! Happy weimaraner sister, Sasha! Happy us! In case you haven't figured out the end of this story--our foster plan failed but Gracie succeded in adopting us.  Lynda Kuhn
