Success Stories > 2012 Successes > A great shot of Milo
Milo is doing great! The wound on his paw, the one that he kept licking raw has healed. We tried everything and our efforts have paid off. He is more athletic. He gallops like a horse at the park. He LOVES it there. His favorite game is to find a stick or toy and play "keep away" with other dogs and Izzy. Very few dogs can keep up with him, it's impressive. Thanks again for adding this big hunk o'luv into our home!!Update on Milo 5-24-12: Milo is doing great! We are so glad to have Milo. Izzy still bullies him occasionally..but she is getting better. She gets jealous when Milo gets affection while she's watching. She'll bark at us. Our dogs are spoiled. They get their morning walk to Rosedale Conservancy where they meet up with pals and run off leash. Then they get their noon walk with Bruce. At 4:30 they meet up with all the other Rosedale dogs for a huge group play session. Then they get their final walk around 8:30. Milo attended his first obedience training class. He was the BEST, most well behaved dog and responded very well to Sit and Stay commands. We have 7 more classes. Milo's behavior has improved greatly. He doesn't jump up as much as he used to, he is starting to ring bells to let us know he has to go out, he is starting to sit and give paw instead of barking at us, he steals clothing, he is playing more. Even though it is extra work to have two dogs, we couldn't be happier
