Dixie is a brave soul. She was hit by a car and her owners could not afford to get her treatment.  She subsequently had to have her leg amputated. She has been through a lot but found a wonderful home with a family who loves her.  She is now doing well and she loves the beach and water and cannot wait until summer!! This is a picture of Dixie in the marina office looking very curious and another of her and her "sister" Remi at the beach and snuggling together.
